Description
Ragweed pollen is one of the most common triggers of seasonal allergies and allergic rhinitis in North America. Amb a 8 and Amb a 11 are two proteins found in ragweed pollen that can cause these allergic reactions. These 3D models help show how their shape might be recognized by the immune system, which is important for understanding why ragweed is such a strong allergen and how it might cross-react with other plant allergens.
