Purpose: standardized, medium through put imaging of coverslips on glass slides. 

Notes: The ribs that separate slides are slightly recessed on the bottom to ensure that objects can move between coverslips without restriction. We typically mount slides on a template so that we can generate a standardized pattern of 2-3 12 mm coverslips per slide. This allows automated imaging of 8-12 coverslips at a time.
