Description

Rat Brain Coronal Sectioning Matrix – 1 mm

A precision-designed 3D-printable rat brain coronal sectioning matrix developed to facilitate consistent and reproducible preparation of coronal brain sections for experimental and research applications. The matrix features 1 mm interval cutting guides, enabling accurate and uniform sectioning of rat brain tissue using a suitable blade.

The design provides stable positioning of the brain during sectioning and helps improve consistency between samples. This makes it suitable for applications such as neuroanatomical studies, histology, toxicology, neuroscience research, molecular analysis, and tissue collection for biochemical experiments.

The STL file is optimized for 3D printing and laboratory prototyping, allowing researchers to produce a cost-effective, reusable sectioning tool. The compact design has approximate dimensions of 39.9 × 24.8 × 15.9 mm.

Key Features:

  • Precision 1 mm coronal sectioning intervals

  • Designed for consistent rat brain tissue slicing

  • Supports reproducible sample preparation

  • Suitable for neuroscience, toxicology, histology, and related research

  • Compact and reusable laboratory design

  • Ready for 3D printing in compatible materials

Recommended Use: For research and educational purposes. The printed matrix should be properly cleaned and sterilized as appropriate for the intended laboratory workflow.
