Description
This wearable assistive device enables individuals with symbrachydactyly to play the guitar independently. The device provides a secure and adaptable method for holding a guitar pick without requiring a traditional grasp.
The wearable features two slits that accommodate standard smartwatch-style straps, allowing for comfortable, adjustable attachment to the hand or wrist. Users can insert their guitar pick of choice into a binder clip, which can then be placed into the triangle cut-out.
Designed to be low-cost, modular, and easy to fabricate, this device supports inclusive access to music education and creative expression while promoting independence for users with upper-limb differences.
