Description

High detail cranium and mandible that I segmented from the high resolution computed tomography scan of an American Bulldog (source). I segmented the cranium and mandible separately and removed the padding that was placed between them so the 2 parts can be 3D printed separately. Models were made solid using Meshlab to optimize them for 3D printing and do not contain internal anatomical data.

Publication citation: Kubinyi, Eniko; Czeibert, Kálmán; Nagy, Gergely; Csörgő, Tibor; Donkó, Tamás; Petneházy, Örs; et al. (2024). High-resolution computed tomographic (HRCT) image series from 413 canid and 18 felid skulls. figshare. Collection. https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.c.7296568.v1

This is specimen 004_A_AMBD from the High Resolution Computed Tomographic Image Series of canid and felid skulls available here and on the Figshare url listed above.

Small details such as sutures are visible even when printed with 0.20 mm layers. Great veterinary reference model.
