Description

An upgraded LSBT model based on our previous original work that was previously uploaded (https://doi.org/10.60705/3dpx/21687.1). In addition to what was already provided in the last model, we have upgraded the original box trainer to include an insertion platform for our newly developed training modules, allowing them to be fixed in place and stabilized during the use of the box trainer.

In total, we have developed four different training modules: laparoscopic ball transfer, threading, suturing, and peg transfer modules. Each module was evaluated for quality performance and deemed suitable for developing basic laparoscopic skills by the team.

In addition to furthering our mission of making this tool accessible to the general public and increasing its cost-effectiveness, we have developed a smaller-sized box trainer to facilitate ease of access for the general medical community. The smaller box trainer maintains the shape and port site locations of the original box trainer.
