Description
There are six models in this entry:
- eNOS_HBa. Ribbon representation showing human eNOS homodimer in two shades of brown docked to α-globin (green). Heme and other prosthetic groups are shown as spheres. The α-globin peptide that interacts with eNOS is shown in yellow.
- eNOS_HB. Ribbon representation showing human eNOS homodimer in two shades of brown docked to hemoglobin (green). Heme and other prosthetic groups are shown as spheres. The β-globin peptides that interact with eNOS are shown in red, dark green and dark blue. Sidechain atoms of GLU6 on the red peptide (Hbb1) from β-globin are shown as ball and stick, as are the interacting positively charged ARG and LYS sidechains on eNOS.
- eNOS_HB_surf. Surface representation showing human eNOS homodimer docked to hemoglobin. Color scheme is as in model 2. Atoms of GLU6 on β-globin and the positively charged ARG and LYS sidechains on eNOS are shown as spheres.
- eNOS_2HB_surf. Surface representation showing human eNOS homodimer docked to 2 compete hemoglobin structures. The symmetry of the eNOS homodimer permits this second hemoglobin to bind. Color scheme is as in model 2. Atoms of GLU6 on β-globin and the positively charged ARG and LYS sidechains on eNOS are shown as spheres.
- eNOS_2HB_reductase_surf. Surface representation showing human eNOS homodimer docked to 2 compete hemoglobin structures, and docked cytochrome b5 reductase 3 (purple).
- eNOS_2HB_reductase_surf_AF. Surface representation showing human eNOS homodimer docked to 2 compete hemoglobin structures, docked cytochrome b5 reductase 3 (purple), aligned with the AlphaFold structure of complete eNOS shown as ribbon.
