Description
Thin Layer Chromatography is technique utilized in teaching and research labs of organic chemistry. Performing TLC is difficult for people with visual impairment or low manual dexterity.
This device allows those with visual impairment or low dexterity to slide a TLC plate into this device and then load or spot up to three samples onto a common TLC plate using a standard glass capillary. The whole device, with spotted plate, can be put in a beaker of solvent for chromatography.
The device requires the use of common TLC plates with a silica gel material.
