Description
The Inclined Salamander Positioning Device (ISPD) is a 3-D printed device designed to assist with the collection of sperm from axolotls and has potential uses for other salamander species. This device could also be applied to veterinary procedures involving salamanders. The device can be scaled to accommodate a range of body sizes.
The animals pictured are anesthetized in compliance with IACUC policies.
Please click the 'DOCUMENTATION' tab to download the standard operating procedure (SOP) used at the center for axolotls.
