Description

This model demonstrates metastatic disease from a germ cell tumor that originated in the testicle. The model was made after radical orchiectomy and chemotherapy. This was done for presurgical planning purposes for debulking of residual retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy along with left lateral hepatectomy as part of a protocol (with AFP < 50 after treatment). The model shows skin, bones, lower lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys, tumor, and vasculature. The urinary collecting systems were imaged as well. There is delay in urinary excretion on the left due to compression by tumor.
