Description

Flexible kit for the construction of DNA duplexes and simple DNA nanostructures. Engineered connectors provide robustness, but allow for easy disassembly and reconfiguration of DNA systems. This 75% scale model has been cost engineered to require less than half the material of the original 100% model while maintaining connection robustness and flexibility.


The journal paper entitled "Modular, Articulated Models of DNA and Peptide Nucleic Acids for Nanotechnology Education" was published in 2023 in The Biophysicist. https://www.doi.org/10.35459/tbp.2022.000225. Supplementary material for the article includes teaching activities for creating duplexes, teaching polymerase action, constructing a double crossover and building DNA tweezers.
