Description

This model is a segmented version of the model of the whole hand ("3D Model of An Anatomical Template of Healthy Adult Human Hand")  that we recently shared on this site. As its name indicates, in this case all the bones of the hand -- and only the bones -- were segmented. Please see the "Description" section of that model for additional details. We created an anatomical template of healthy adult hands using 27 different T1-weighted images (from a fairly demographically representative subject population) using the ANTsX open-source software. We segmented the hand bones from the template image using 3D Slicer, and converted the segment into this model.
