Description

PDB 3AFA nucleosomes were connected by short stretches of DNA  such that the total bp count was approximately 3200bp.  The completed DNA strand was joined and remeshed in ZBrush.  The histone proteins were colored as follows: H4 - yellow, H3 - orange, H2A - light green, H2b - dark green.

An illustration of the life cycle from PathogenAR is included, with the step associated with this model highlighted.

This model was used in the PathogenAR Hepatitis B: The Hepatitis B Life Cycle Module in PathogenAR (https://www.niaid.nih.gov/research/pathogenar-mobile-app)
