Description

A small maze designed for studying parasitic worm migration and taxis. It is sized to match a standard 96-well plate footprint so it can be handled and imaged with common plate-based equipment. It was requested by a researcher in the NIAID Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases, based on a simple hand-drawn layout, and modeled and printed by the NIAID 3D Program. Worms are placed in the maze and their movement toward or away from stimuli can be tracked across the channels. It was printed on a Lulzbot taz pro in PLA Black Filament
