Description

Surface model of a stereospecific enzyme: 6-hydroxy-L-nicotine oxidase from Paenarrthrobacter nicotinovorans. The model was sliced in half in order to make the binding sites for FAD and substrates (6 hydroxy L- nicotine and 6 hydroxy D- nicotine) visible and accessible. The ligands are provided separated and can be inserted and removed. Great for teaching protein/enzyme structure, as well as enzyme specificity. Made it to help me teach the biochemistry course.
