Description
This is the extension to the 3DVerkstan Protective Visor, North American 6 Hole Variant, currently being used by the Triangle COVID chapter of Masks for Docs. It was designed for Dentists and other specialists that need additional room for loupes, lighting, or other specialist equipment. It is designed to snap securely to the 3DVerkstan PPE without the need for adhesives or mechanical aids. There is a slot on the front for mounting lighting gear used by dentists.
The design is based on the original 2D CAD drawings provided by Eric Cederberg (3DVerkstan) for a perfect fit-up. It will print on any 3D printer large enough to print the original 3DVerktan Protective Visor, making it a good alternative to larger all-in-one visor designs that are too large to print on smaller 3D printers.
