Description

Face shield’s primary function is to protect eyes and nose from direct contact from liquids and aerosols. A secondary effect of the face shield is to limit access to face from direct touch from possibly contaminated hands.

Main key factors of this design are:

  • Simplistic design with minimal components;
  • rapid manufacturing time to deliver PPE for people in need;
  • full coverage of face from all directions, specially the top of the shield;
  • high comfort of the device to be worn whole day without causing the pressure ulcers;
  • face shield is compatable with glasses, goggles, respirator.

Shield48 design is a collaborative result between Shield48.eu team's engineers and Paul Stradins Clinical University Hospital's Infectology consultation team.

Remember to clean your Face Shield after use and keep it in clean environment!

Stay Safe!
