Description

A prototype face shield that Prothesia developed.
This Faceshield is intended to be manufactured with laser cutting or die-cutting.

For this prototype, the materials used are:

  • PETG sheet 0.5mm of thickness.
  • 16mm elastic strap to adjust the fit.

PETG is recommended but PVC and PET can work too.

The advantages of this design include:

  • Good top, bottom and sides protection against droplets.
  • Easy to clean
  • Durable

The Faceshield is being tested by Tec Salud medical personnel in Monterrey, N.L. in Mexico. Getting good feedback.
