Description

This face shild design was developed in partnership with local health workers to meet their demans and common manufacturing resources. The design features 3 prongs that fit snugly into holes created with a common 3-hole punch to mitigate the need for specialty equipment. Other features, such as coverage from ear-to-ear, flexible sides, lightweight, 2-hour print time, durability, and comfort are encorporated. The design is such to allow 2 parts to be arranged a standard 8"x8" desktop FDM 3D printer and print in approximately 4 hours using a line height of 0.2 mm and a wall thickness of 0.4 mm and no support material needed.
