Description

This is a Face Mask for medical personnel to use when no other personal protective equipment is available. The design specifies a MERV-11 filter and the mask can be used with a variety of filter media up to MERV-16. This mask is designed to be easy to print and assemble and comes in 2 versions. The valved version of the Face Mask uses silicone valves (purchased) for inhalation and exhalation air flow. This design also drains any perspiration in the mask. The valveless design houses the filter and inhalation and exhalation are through the same filter. I can be reached at dpemberton@medfab3d.com 317-695-5841. I will be updating the information for the mask as we put the mask into use. We will keep the information updated here. If you have suggestions or alternative sources for materials please contact us. We are based in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be providing manufactured versions of this design to health care providers free of charge.

We would like to have this design evaluated for clinical use.
