Using 3D printing technology; we show how we can use one respirator for five patients.
The goal is to make two identical pieces. The first part will be connected to the inspiratory side of the respirator and the second to the expiratory side. And each room will have five outputs. We manufactured in less than four hours the two parts with an external diameter of 21,97 mm at each of the four outlets. At the expiratory side, a filter must be adapted corresponding to each of the five patients.
