Description

We designed a comfortable and well-fitting face shield in response to the need for PPE devices created by the Covid-19 pandemic. Our device has been approved for clinical use by the Czech Ministry of Health and is being used around the world. We have been working with feedback from both medical professionals and the community who are printing the shields to optimize the design.

We recommend the design be printed in PETG for better heat tolerance, flexibility, and sterilization but the design can be produced in PLA. The face shield can be laser cut from .5 to 1mm PETG sheets.

Features include:

  • Flexible ergonomic design optimized for comfort.
  • Bottom reinforcement to increase rigidity and maintain shape.
  • Modular top cover for full coverage.
  • Stackable design for optimal printing.
  • Headband attachments for use with multiple sources of elastic.
