Description

A simple to make 3D printed face shield for average head sizes. It is designed to fit up to 50% percentile male and accommodates 99% percentile women head sizes. Most other designs are too large for average people. This design also includes a visor and slots for securing the ends of a standard 8-1/2" x 11" plastic film. The design uses a standard 3-hole punch for rapid manufacturing and to ensure proper fit of the plastic film. The face shield assembly can be attached to the head with 5/8" width buttonhole elastic or other strings/cords.

Bill of Materials:

3D printed model (currently using PLA)

8-1/2" x 11" Write-On Transparency Film with a standard 3-hole punch

5/8" buttonhole elastic (12" length or longer) or wrap stretch cord as a headband

Note: A larger derivative version to accommodate 99% percentile male head sizes is also available.
