Description

This is the final iteration of the Eggert Shield.  In comparison to the Budmen visor, it boasts:

  • Universal 3-hole punch shield mounting
  • Uses only 15 grams of filament vs 30 grams for Budmen
  • Single visor prints in under 1 hour
  • Smaller overall size allows for up to 4 visors to fit on a Prusa MK3S bed
  • Universal strap attachment using my loop and post design.  Works with everything from single 7" rubber band (without cutting the rubber band) to 1/2" velcro (8 out of 10 doctors preferred the Velcro band), or up to 15mm elastic bands.
  • If used with Eggert Shield laser-cut shield, the clear plastic shield is interlocked with the headband making it impossible for it to detach while in use
  • Requires minimal assembly:.  1 visor, 1 clear shield, ~8 inches of 1/2" x 3/4" adhesive-backed foam, and a headband strap
  • Easy stacking, packing, and shipping

The Eggert Shield has been in production for two weeks and tested by over 30 doctors and nurses in New England.  Their feedback has been the driving force behind all iterations and resulted in the current version which I believe is finally ready for mass distribution.  As I am the original designer, I am willing and able to make any further adjustments deemed necessary.
