Description

This part is better and prints perfectly: https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-013734  I will keep this project up if you want to build from the OpenSCAD design.

THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON A HUMAN.

We are still in the testing and design phase. This is not recommended for clinical use at this time, but we are seeking testing.

The goal of this project is to create an adapter than can be used to split the output and input of a ventilator to extend its usage during an extreme emergency situation. All splits of this concept would require all of the proper filters that would normally be used with a ventilator.

Upstream contributions and issues are welcome: https://github.com/technologyclassroom/yhoseadapter

Design file was made using OpenSCAD to fit standard size 22mm oxygen hoses.

Initial drafting was completed by Michael McMahon.

Initial test and fitting test was completed by Robert Comeau.
