D-glucopyranose 6-phosphate is a glucopyranose ring with a phosphate replacing the hydroxy in the hydroxymethyl group at position 6. It is a D-glucose 6-phosphate and a D-hexopyranose 6-phosphate. It is functionally related to a D-glucopyranose. It is a conjugate acid of a D-glucopyranose 6-phosphate(2-).
