Description

Schematic model of the outer ear that prints flat to about the size of a credit card. The pieces are broken apart to allow constructing a simple, near life size model of the pinna, also known as the auricle, of the outer human ear. The pinna rests on a base for display that has a slot for a small instructional booklet, also included. This model allows a kinestetic learning experience in the study of the anatomy of the pinna, and is used in my gross anatomy of speech and hearing systems class.
