Description

This customizable jig is intended for use in welding a tube chassis together with accurate angles. Current products on the market with modification can achieve the same thing for around $150. This print plus hardware costs less than $6, resulting in saving of around $144.

Directions:

1. Modify variables to achieve proper geometry for needs.

2. Print Block1 & Block A (OPTIONAL: Print Bracket)

3. Assebly the blocks by threading a bolt into the hinge.

4. Insert nut and thread bolt with washer into Block1 for proper protractor binding.

5. Adjust jig to desired angle.

6. Engage tubes into jig

7. Tack weld tubes together.

8. Remove jig from chassis.

9. Complete welding.
