Description

A simple CD based monochromator for budgeted labs or DYI scientists. By placing a simple CD on the holder and shining a typicall household flashlight it creates a wavelength from the reflection which can be controlled by using a simple slot which can isolate a specific color. Retail can be found from the $7000 to $15000 for this equipment, this design can be printed at $2.30 worth of plastic, assuming that the user already owns a flashlight and a CD for use.
