Description

Vacuum is widely used in various laboratory experiments. The vacuum pressure is commonly needed in such as filtration, degas processing, and condensation reaction. Most of modern fume hoods are equipped with vacuum ejectors generated by water current. The water current can generate relatively low vacuum pressure and easily adjust the degree of power. However, there is a risk of water leaking into system that may lead to a failure experiment, especially in filtration. Therefore, the air current is preferred than the water current for vacuum ejector. This project is manufacturing vacuum ejector by 3D printing (FDM) as one-body design. The material was selected as ABS which is performance an excellent mechanical properties such as stiffness, toughness and impact strength.
