Description

This Beam Blocker Stand is meant to uphold a Beam Blocker for an Optics Lab. This design incorporates screw threads into the print so that every time it is screwed into the print, it does not scrape off plastic and wear it down each use.

This design is 9.6cm tall (3 5/8"), and it has M4 screw threads inside. The Beam Blocker has an M4 screw in it, which screws into the print hole perfectly. A metal part this size costs around $5.86. The cost of printing this object uses 2.13 meters of PLA filament, which costs $0.22, which saves $5.64, or 96.2% savings.
