Description
Mometasone is a tertiary alpha-hydroxy ketone, a 17alpha-hydroxy steroid, an 11beta-hydroxy steroid, a 20-oxo steroid, a 3-oxo-Delta(1),Delta(4)-steroid and a chlorinated steroid. It has a role as an anti-inflammatory drug, a dermatologic drug, a vasoconstrictor agent and an anti-allergic agent. It is functionally related to a Delta(1)-progesterone.
