Description

A model of the interior of the HIV virion, derived from a cellpack recipe (http://www.autopack.org/cellpack-recipes/hiv-1) created by Graham Johnson.  The cytoplasm component has been duplicated several times to make the model printable, and internal pillars have been added.  Some islands are still present and will become detached during printing.  The membrane is about two times thicker than it would actually be in the virus.  The model has been cut in half, with the viral capsid left mostly intact.  Several subunits of the capsid have been removed to expose its interior.
