Description

This is the "Hex" microdrive designed for use with our swivel cap headstage, along with its associated electrode carrier. This microdrive has undergone significant redesign from its previous incarnations, and is altogether different from our other microdrives in several ways. The foremost difference is that the bottom of the microdrive acts as a peg to hold the drive in place when inserted into our swivel cap base. This will require an additional boolean operation and precise placement of each component when modifying the base for an experiment.  See the Swivel Cap 2.0 page for additional information and instructions.
