This is a quick customizable way to make an array of columns of any size and with any size columns.

This little design is a great example of the beauty and power of OpenSCAD as it has lots of uses -- everything from setting up a 3-D printable plinko game to using them to make holes in your Buckner funnel (which I will post in a moment) to illustrating the geometry of your semiconductor nanocolumn array to optimize their optical properties for solar photovoltaic applications (see for example InGaN nanocolumn paper
