Description

Stroke is the number 5 killer in America. This disease group includes ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke and aneurysms which can rupture and bleed. This model demonstrates an aneurysm of the basilar artery. Look carefully at the bottom center of the brain for an egg-shaped lesion. This aneurysm is at threat for rupture.

There are 3 total STL files: the first is of the vessels in the brain; the second is of the hollow skull; the third is a filling so that encases the vessels, allowing them to be printed without the need for support material.
