Description

This is the "Hex" microdrive designed for use with our swivel cap headstage, along with its associated electrode carrier. Smaller still than the "Lambda" microdrive, numerous units can be packed together tightly. This unit also makes use of the M1 screw for more precise movement. We have also created and supplied a clustered version of this design that allows for independent manipulation of 3 separate electrode carriers. Lastly, we provide a holder to assist in placing two clusters in close proximity. 

 

As stated above, you'll need an M1 screw and nut to complete fabrication of this design, along with a small amount of acid flux and solder to keep the screw from coming out during extention or retraction of the electrode carrier.
