Description

This is the "Lambda" microdrive designed for use with our swivel cap headstage, along with its associated electrode carrier. At nearly half the size of the "Hug" microdrive, this unit specializes in hitting superficial structures and is more precise than its larger brother due to its M1 screw. We have also created and supplied a clustered version of this design that allows for independent manipulation of 3 separate electrode carriers. 

 

As stated above, you'll need an M1 screw and nut to complete fabrication of this design, along with a small amount of acid flux and solder to keep the screw from coming out during extension and retraction of the microdrive.
