Description

17-year-old female, followup aneurysm in left ventricular outflow tract. History of congenital heart disease with repair of AV canal, mitral valve replacement with St. Jude valve, subaortic stenosis status post repair. Situs inversus with interrupted inferior vena cava and azygous continuation.

Learning points The mechanical mitral valve annulus shows up well on the CT and is visible in the model. The left coronary artery courses superior to the aneurysm and the model helped to plan the surgical approach to close the defect.

Imaging Protocol Description Retrospectively gated CT angio images of the heart were obtained using 0.625 mm acquisition. kV 120 MA range 100-250
