SARS-COV-2 VIRION AND PROTEINS
SARS-COV-2 VIRION AND PROTEINS

A curated selection of molecular models relating to SARS-CoV-2 that were curated during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

This collection was originally curated in response to the rapid publication of experimental structures of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its proteins during the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes structures released by the Protein Data Bank, along with additional "Featured" structures curated by NIAID in 3D-printable formats. These structures were based on experimental data but included custom depictions to highlight functional aspects of SARS-CoV-2 or related viruses, as well as a model of the SARS-CoV-2 virion created at the NIAID Rocky Mountain Laboratories based on electron microscopy of the virus.

As the pandemic has evolved, this collection is no longer actively curated or updated. You can use our Quick Submit tool to get models of newer entries in the Protein Data Bank or Electron Microscopy Databank, but they will not be included in this collection.
