Description

3D-printed prosthetic hand inspired by open-source designs from the e-NABLE community and innovators like Mat Bowtell. My goal was to explore how biomedical engineering can increase accessibility to assistive technology, particularly for children who cannot afford traditional prosthetics. Throughout the process, I researched hand anatomy, mechanical movement, and sustainable materials, and learned how tension-based systems allow finger flexion through wrist motion.
