Description

3D print made from 2D jpg image taken from the elbow section of the Virtual Human Project (Male) of the National Library of Medicine.  This is a 3D print of that section made by a MakerBot Replicator 2 in my home office.  Similar 3D prints were made by sending the stl file overseas to i.Materialize with a turn-around time of 2 - 3 weeks and a cost of about $17.00 per 3D print.  These 3D prints can be used as part of a tactile learning object so that students who are blind or visualy impaired can learn by anatomy by tactile means.
