Description

I love that this has avoids the deadly crescent, and that it has a drip guard without the visor that is difficult and slow to print because of the overhang. BUT it did not work out - I printed it with PETG, temp 250 .4mm nozzle and found that with holes punched as prescribed,  it did not even come close to securing a sheet of .02in PETG 8.5x11. There were 2 issues - the sheet holding protrusions are too short and they are mounted on a flexible surface that makes the issue worse.  Even if I change the hole punch distance to a shorter value to increase tension, it does not reliably secure the shield because that flexible surface moves. So cannot use this design unless the sheet holding protrusions are elongated by 100%.  It might work with PLA but I want to print with PETG to allow autoclaving. Thanks for trying an innovative design with some good safety features!
