Description

The 3D printable face shield designed by Avid Product Development is optimized for HP Multi Jet Fusion Technology. Updated face shield frame prints in a compact geometry for maximum efficiency, easier post-processing, and improved powder managment. The new DfAM face shield frame prints approximately 300 parts in a full MJF 4200/5200 build at 13.80% density or 150 parts in a half MJF 4200/5200 build.

The enhanced design is lightweight and features a more comforable headbead and a connector for logo attachment. Frames attach to two types of clear plastic shields (standard and crowned). The 3D printed frames assembles into a protective face shield by placing the clear face shield film on the frame pins, connecting the headband, and then adjusting the rear straps to fit the user's head.

Model is for a 3 Post Frame, which is preferred, as HP has secured large quantities of the clear PET material for this hold pattern. Please contact Avid Product Development for a 4 Post design.
